Preliminary Intellectual Property Audit

Despite our long and varied experiences in this exciting field of law, we cannot help but be greatly impressed by the significance and ever-expanding importance of intellectual property issues to businesses big and small. Our experience also teaches us that crises and disruption may most often be avoided, or at least substantially mitigated, by those regularly focused on anticipatory and proactive measures as opposed to reactive and ad hoc activities. Clearly, in matters of intellectual property, an ounce of prevention is indeed better than a pound of cure.
These observations have prompted us to assemble in a single document a listing of various intellectual property issues, pitfalls and opportunities which we hope will be of use to our clients.
